At 11 o'clock Friday night Mrs. Henry Winton died at her home on West Market Street after a long illness. The funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock by Rev. Switzer and Rev. VanCleave. Interment at the Odd Fellows Cemetery. Harriet McClure was born in the year of 1823 and has been a resident of Crawfordsville for over 60 years. She was married to Henry Winton 2 July 1849. Four children were born to her only two of whom are living. However she assumed an extra responsibility by raising a niece, Miss Hattie Martin, on whom she bestowed a mother's love. - kbz

Mrs. T. H. Winton died at her late home No. 400, West Market Street, this morning after a painful illness of six weeks. Mrs. Winton was born the 26th of December, 1825, and has for many years been a resident of this city. She was the mother of three children, two of whom survive her. The funeral services will take place at the family residence tomorrow at 4 o’clock, Rev. G. W. Switzer officiating.
